Master Landscape Architect
In 1999, he graduated from Landscape Architecture Department of Technical University of Karadeniz. Engin AKTAŞ started his graduate education in the same department in 2000. During his graduate studies, Engin AKTAŞ worked as project manager and designer in various projects in the project production center nationwide.
Between 2001-2002 he worked as a Design Director in a private Landscape Architecture firm in Istanbul.
In 2003, he completed his thesis entitled "The Relation of the Formation and Circulation of Spaces in Thematic Amusement Parks" and received the title of "Landscape Superior Architecture".
Between 2005 and 2008, he worked as a Research Assistant in the Landscape Architecture Department of the Technical University of the Black Sea. During his Ph.D. study in 2007, he studied at the Okayama University of Japan for 1 year on "City Parks and Urban Open Areas".
In 2008, he established PTM PROJECT DESIGN CENTER in Trabzon together with his architect partner and continued to work on projects in the private sector. In 2015 PTM ISTANBUL BRANCH PROJECT 's opening two offices in conjunction with landscape architect and architect colleagues over 15 in many countries besides Turkey and abroad continues to produce many parts of the project.
PTM PROJECT aims to pass the foreign office's life in the next 5 years. He is also the Chairman of TRABZON Branch of TMMOB (Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects) Chamber of Landscape Architects. Aktaş, who has won a number of national competition projects, is married and has one child.
